2001

• Karl and Randy Meyer launch 3PD, a last-mile logistics company serving retailers in the Atlanta area.

2002

• 3PD expands to Denver and Jacksonville.
• 3PD completes its 200,000th annual home delivery.

2003

• 3PD completes its millionth annual home delivery.
• 3PD expands operations to include 17 states.

2004

• Home Depot names 3PD its Box Truck Partner of the Year. Home Depot also gives 3PD the Hurricane Hero award.
• 3PD expands its network to include 700 contract carriers.

2005

• 3PD expands its operations to include services in the lower 48 states.
• 3PD makes its 2 millionth annual home delivery.
• Home Depot names 3PD its Box Truck Partner of the Year for the second
  consecutive year.
• 3PD expands its fleet to include tractors.

2006

• 3PD and GTS merge, turning the combined company into one of the last-mile industry's first truly national providers.
• 3PD makes its 3 millionth annual home delivery.
• 3PD's family of contractors expands to include 1,200 contract carriers.
• Home Depot names 3PD its Delivery Partner of the Year.

2007

• 3PD acquires Affinity Logistics, increasing its annual revenues by more than 50 percent and expanding its reach to nearly 500 locations throughout the country.
• 3PD's family of contractors expands to include 1,500 contact carriers.
• 3PD approaches its 5 millionth annual home delivery.
• Sears names GTS (now a 3PD company) a 2006 Partner in Progress.
• 3PD begins providing services in Canada.
• Best Buy presents 3PD with two of its top three honors for home delivery excellence.
• 3PD is named Atlanta’s Logistics Company of the Year.

2008

• Inbound Logistics names 3PD a "Top 100 3PL" for the second year in a row.
• Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies names 3PD one of "100 Great Supply Chain Partners."
• 3PD is ranked 35th on Transport Topics' "Top 50 3PLS" list, 12th on its list of "Top 25 Dedicated Contract Carriers" and 75th on its list of "Top 100 Carriers For Hire."
• GE honors 3PD with four service awards.
• 3PD takes first place on Georgia Trend's "Mid-Market Fast Forty" list.
